CPR Sunday began as a continuation in education for the public following Fire Prevention week.
CPR Sunday was begun with the purpose of providing training for people so that victims of sudden cardiac arrest and choking
had increased chances for survival until EMS could arrive to facilitate treatment and transport to the local hospital.
